Excellent shifter - installed one in my 996 Turbo and I liked it so much I installed another in my 987 Boxster S - it's the only way to shift gears in Porsches with manual transmissions!! Excellent service too. Too bad Trump is undermining everything - no one in Canada wants anything more to do with America - not until King Con is removed from office and America apologizes !!! Sorry.

It’s a perfect plug&play OEM fitment. Installation was childs play. The shifting feeling is soooo much better then the original. I need to adjust the height of it to see wich of the 3 options sutes me the best, but overall I’m really happy with it.

Shifter Feels very tight in our 996 GT2 conversion car, we used the aluminum Cable ends as well and can feel the difference as well as see it! Looks amazing and works even better than imagined!

Impressively constructed right out of the box. Install was relatively straightforward and took roughly an hour with taking your time. Had to watch a few videos on it. I would recommend adding some masking tape to the handbrake boot to avoid scratches when removing center console. Stock shifter felt a little sloppy but this feels incredible on the middle setting. Would certainly recommend to improve your 911’s driving experience.

The NM100 2.0 Adjustable short throw shifter greatly improved the shifting experience of my 996 Turbo. The shifts are short and precise. The gated feeling takes getting used to but there's nothing negative about it. It should get smoother over time.

I am in the Uk, ordered from the States, superb communication, and unbelievable speed of delivery. Around four days from my ordering. Well packed with care. The quality is off the scale, well engineered and designed, a doddle to swap over. I have set it to its middle setting on the shaft, which is perfect for normal use. No slop, very direct, but the thing I like most is the spring bias, which is the reason I bought it. Much improved. It it worth the money? it is expensive, not massively better than the modded item I had already fitted. However, Incremental gains become more expensive the smaller the gain. I would suggest that if you want the shift to be as good as you can get without changing the cables? this is it. Would I buy again knowing what I know now? Yes!

Positive gear changes now. I previously had a problem switching from 1st - 2nd, not anymore. Fun to drive. The most difficult part of the installation was removing the original gear knob.

Shifter is amazing both in looks (though hidden now after install) and feel. Used the middle hole for my daily driver and the shortness is perfect, tight shifting, and the auto centering spring is excellent.

Hello Numeric Racing Team I finally installed the shifter today. Porsche 997.2 GT3 Without the gear knob, it feels very precise and mechanical. Really cool! The play I feel in the lever comes from the shift cables, which are new, but I can live with that. I won't be testing the GT3 on the road until next spring. I've already deregistered the car because of the winter break. The only thing I'm still thinking about is whether to put the original knob or the Numeric knob on, I don't know yet, but this mechanical feedback is perfect for the Numeric knob! Really great! My 996 is a high mileage hero, but the shifter was letting me down. The Numeric shifter is everything I could ask for. Nice and tight, smooth action and won't fatigue and wear like the factory plastic unit.

I purchased an early version of the 986 shifter, which improved my driving experience tremendously. Not only were the shifts shorter, they were crisp and felt as though the shifter was attached directly to the transmission. I was very happy with my purchase. Later, I had some issues with the shifter but Numeric resolved them quickly and without any hassle. I am as happy to have bought the shifter as I was when I first installed it. I won't hesitate to buy again or to recommend their products to anyone. Thank you for a wonderfully engineered product!

Give it a few drives before final judgement, liked but didn’t love it at first. Took my time over a few ~1 hour sessions and car already had numeric cables so can’t comment on their performance, but the shifter is amazing. Installed on the middle setting but have been thinking about changing it to the highest (stock?) height. Worth the time and money as the shifter, steering wheel, and pedals are your main contact points with your vehicle.

Install was easy, straight forward, and a great time to knock out other things at the same time. Absolutely worth the time, effort and price. Shifting is so much more firm and notchy. At first i installed at the medium height on the shift lever, but found that the highest position (where the shifter is at the lowest) is perfect.
