Short Throw Shifter
Our patented fully adjustable short throw shifter is the product that defined us. Designed to eliminate all play and sloppiness, it transforms your driving experience. Made from 100% aerospace-grade billet aluminum, it offers a strong and unwavering stance. We added precision bearings on every moving axis for buttery smooth action and undeniable accuracy. Performance Cables
One of the most common issues for manual Porsches is the shift cables—they're bound to break eventually. We designed our Performance Shift Cables as a permanent solution. Our cables are thicker for added strength and have full motion, snap-back-to-center capability, preventing bending and snapping. With billet aluminum rod ends for precise engagement and aluminum bulkheads with stainless steel mounting nuts, our cables eliminate any play. In almost a decade, we've never had a cable break on our customers.
Insulation Tubing and Wrench
We thought of everything when designing our products. While using high-quality billet aluminum, we anticipated potential extra noise from the cabin. To address this, our Transmission Bundle includes rubber silicone tubing that can be spiral cut and wrapped around our cables to dampen unwanted noise. We offer two connection options for the rod ends: plastic insert caps for street cars to avoid metal-on-metal sound, and metal rod ends with a circlip for maximum engagement on track cars. Our cables also feature custom-fit bulkheads that can be tightened precisely with the included Numeric Racing Wrench.

Just buy one ! Great item beautifully made and works to perfection
The mechanical precision of this shifter and cable setup is absolutely phenomenal and completely transforms the driving experience. However, the installation is a massive undertaking, and Numeric Racing urgently needs to provide an official, professional, and concise manual instead of leaving customers to rely on shaky amateur YouTube videos. In particular, a brief guide on how to subsequently readjust the throw setting (including required tools and console disassembly depth) would be highly beneficial.

Excellent products! I have a 997.2 C4S, and I wish I had them installed earlier. These are a must if you want to get the best out of your manual Carrera.
The shifter and cables are next level! I track my car and it is exactly what I was hoping for. Very precise shifts and mechanical feeling.
Install took about 2 hours including replacing the cables. Cables transmit gearbox noises but it is improved with the insulating hoses. Good advice on spiral cutting the hoses so zip ties are not needed to keep them in place. Shift is amazing. No guessing which gear it is in. Firm locking and location. Feels like it is directly connected to the transmission. Almost toggle like shifting. Love it!

The shifter itself is *incredibly* precise and well built - everything I wanted it to be. Weighty, no slop, and communicative. Set to the middle setting is perfect, no need to go even lower. The shift cables did add a bit of a high-pitched whine under load from the transmission, so beware if you care about NVM. I'm tracking the car + keep the top down most of the time, so it doesn't bother me.
I ordered the shifter/cable bundle along with Numeric pedals. I'll say, it's an absolute much improved driving experience with this 3-pack. The shifter is more direct - intentional - controlled. The cables really make that connection between shifter & transmission into more of a married unit. And the pedals are just fantastic - feel and control exactly what every driver needs to experience. I also left a review in Rennlist 997 forum if anyone is interested. Actually, i didn't mention something in that forum entry that i'll make sure to mention here - the Numeric products are exceptional quality!

10/10 results. Actual thankful that my linkage broke and prompted me to get the full kit because wow it's a huge upgrade. Shifts are direct and satisfying every time. Install of the cables is quite a pain but worth it in the end.
The quality of the parts is really first rate. Running the new cables through the rubber body plug was a little frustrating , but other than that it’s a straight forward install. This replaced another brand short shifter and stock cables for me and the difference is huge.
The buying experience was great. There was a short back order, but the parts went out as soon as they were available. I had great communications via Facebook messenger. The product is amazing. The crisp tactile difference in shift execution and feel is incredible compared to stock. I feel confident in every throw and the driving experience is so much better than before. Thank you!

The Difference is Night & Day WOW!! So much more responsive. Stick feels solid and the shifts are tight on point. No sticking like the stock. Pops right into first without issue, shifts are quick. Excellent upgrade. Love this modification would highly recommend to anyone with a manual trans. You won't regret. Cables are a must.
Amazing This is one of the better upgrades I have done for sure. Anyone that drives the car, the first thing they say, that gearbox is amazing. I do have the cables as well though which adds just a little more to the experience.

Next Level Just picked up my car from having shifter and cables installed. Holy F#@K what a difference… I purchased your shifter and cables about a year ago when I got the car. Absolutely Amazing I had my mechanic install my numeric short shifter and cables in January this year and have put about 1000 miles on my 911 C4S since and it has been absolutely amazing. The shifts have been super precise and tight with that rifle bolt action I was looking for. Literally, the best shifter I have ever used!
Best Mod I've done The shifter/cable upgrade is by far my favorite mod I've done to enhance the driving experience on this car. And that is even after 4 years of driving and moding my car!

Brilliant! I'm sure you guys have plenty of feedback from customers on the cables/Shortshifter kit, but I just wanted to pile on with one more "Holy Cow this is how my Porsche should feeeeeeeel when I'm rowing through the gears"! I'm an old man who waited far too long before I fetched my first Porsche. I am feeling stupid for not doing it sooner. My only gripe, and it's a substantial one, is that compared to some other cars I have, namely a well sorted Mazdarati :) ND Miata, the Porsche shifting was a very unexpected disappointment. How can such an amazing car fall that short? Not anymore! Absolutely transforming. Brilliant, in fact. A real joy to click-click.
